People requesting individual therapy do so for a variety of reasons, including interpersonal difficulties with partners, friends, or family, work challenges, depression, anxiety, difficulties adjusting to a new phase of life, among others.
Most people reach out seeking an empathetic, unbiased, and non-judgmental perspective and that is what I offer. I have been working with individuals for over 30 years, both in Argentina and the U.S.
I was initially trained in individual and in-depth psychotherapy and later on in systemic, relational approaches. While I provide primarily talk therapy, I am increasingly encouraged by the positive results obtained when including writing/journaling activities, specific homework suggestions, and short meditations.
